This year, the sauna complex at Hotel Saaremaa offers the possibility to enjoy heat, steam and salt sauna. A contrast pool with cold and hot water and sea-stone bottom massages the feet and speeds up blood circulation of the legs. The hot tub is refreshing and invigorating. For comfortable relaxation, there is a jacuzzi, a lounge area with a fireplace and a spacious outdoor terrace.

  • The heat sauna has been known to Estonians since the times of our forefathers. The heat sauna overlooks the sea and has tiered bench seating. The temperature in the sauna is 70-100 degrees, the air is dry and hot. Cooling off in a jacuzzi or hot tub bath is a good alternative to staying in the heat room and throwing water on the sauna stove.
  • A steam sauna causes sweating, but as the temperature does not rise above 45 degrees and the relative humidity is above 100%, the strain on the body is less than in a heat sauna. A sauna session can last up to 15 minutes and can be repeated 2-3 times.
  • Salt sauna: Salt is known in folk medicine for its special properties. Rubbing sea salt on the skin in the sauna cleanses and removes dead skin cells, inhaling the salt is good for the upper respiratory tract and relieves joint pain. A low-temperature (no more than 30 degrees) salt sauna is one of the mildest types of sauna.

Price: The sauna complex can be booked for a separate fee both as private saunas and shared saunas according to the price list. All sauna enthusiasts are welcome, both in groups and individually.
